The thirty eighth persisted throughout the Atlanta crusade. From Marietta to the shut, common James T. Holtzclaw of Montgomery commanded the brigade. It fought round the latter urban, and at Jonesboro. throughout the Tennessee crusade of normal John Bell Hood, the regiment participated at Nashville in December 1864, and it was once within the rear shield of the retreat. put within the defenses at cellular, the regiment went during the ordeal at Spanish castle the place it back suffered seriously. With the military, it was once surrendered at Meridian, Mississippi, approximately eighty strong.

The Georgia thirty second Infantry Regiment was once assembled at Camp Harrison close to Savannah, Georgia, in may perhaps, 1862. It was once made from males from Savannah and the counties of Washington, Burke, Effingham, Screven, Clay, Dougherty, Emanuel, Jasper, Jones, Montgomery, Monroe, Talbot, Upson, & Washington.
